FOSS was formed in opposition to the restrictive and controlling practices of the Mainframe government. They are free-spirited hackers that seek to make knowledge accessible to all, so they created a network of Libraries to collect and share information.

FOSS Rank

The best way to get a FOSS member's respect is to be a great hacker. The FOSS Rank is a measure of your hacking skills. You can improve your rank by beating other hackers in NikNak battles and by collecting information about Mainframe.

FOSS Net

When you become a ranked Hacker, you will be able to access the FOSS Net, where you can battle and trade with hackers outside of Mainframe.
